Overall there good cars (I own an 03 with 46,000 miles). However be aware of the gear selector (aka: shift selector, gear sychronizer) the stock piece tends to break or scrape easily if you shift aggressively (racing) and can cause the car to not go into certain gears or grind a gear(s) etc. My advice is to buy an aftermarket piece and install it before anything goes wrong and the problem becomes a real pain in the ass. AGP sells the best gear selector for for about $140, i wouldn't recommend buying from Dodge because
1. Your buying the same crappy piece you already have, and
2. From what I've heard they'll only sell you an entire assembly costing upwards of like $400, and installation is very expensive.
I'm in the process of changing my gear selector, i got mines at ModernPerformance.com for $166.70 (including 2nd day shipping via FedEx)
One more common problem I've had (and its a problem with Dodges in general, not just SRT's) is the cam sensor goes bad usually around 30,000 to 40,000 miles. I bought the replacement from Dodge (don't buy aftermarket for this, for sensors get OEM parts) for about $55 and installed it myself, easy installation but if you don't know how to do it, take it to a mechanic this shouldn't cost more than 10 r 20 bucks to install (you'll need to take off your intake to install the new cam sensor).

You can, But you wouldn't get much out of it. Swap for an SRT-4 motor.
