No this is wrong...dread locks is hair that is not comb..in Africa and Jamaica..mainly with rasta's you let your hair go..in jamaica if twist them they call you a bathroom dread...meaning you are not a real rasta or a fake dread...only in america is twisting popular to keep them fromed nice and neat...any one can get dread locks...it's really is dead hair you dont comb out..also the cleaner your hair the faster it dreads up...rasta's and africans dont put stuff in their hair..washing and just letting it go well dread your hair.. may take time..this is where real dreads come from...Ghana is well known for bringing dread locks to jamaica ..and some other african counturies also..
