Cross out panic at the disco and linkin park strait off. that leaves killswitch slipknot and disturbed. disturbed is ok but not as good as the other two. that leaves slipknot and killswitch. personally i think killswitch is best because of how varying his voice can be

Green day were known to be a pop punk band before the album American idiot and linkin park are nu metal or heavy rock. Bands like KoRn, Slipknot, Papa Roach etc can be good alternatives. Fort Minor, a side project of Mike Shinoda (founder member of LP). Its instruments are greatly influeced with Linkin Park's music and the rapping by Shinoda is great.

Linkin Park, Bullet for my Valentine, Disturbed, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, System of a Down, Trivium, Machine Head, In Flames, Godsmack, Killswitch Engage are all very good bands. Some are heavy metal but still have some amazing songs.

Linkin park is better or green day is better?
Green Day. Green Day have far more talent. Linkin Park were really good prior to Minutes to Midnight but after that, it was all downhill whereas Green Day are getting much more depth into their music. Linkin Park seem to have hit a stump and don't know whether they should continue doing the crappy songs that they're currently doing. Hybrid Theory and Meteora were awesome but they haven't done anything good for nearly a decade. Green Day easily have a greater impact on the music scene. I've seen both bands live and I think Linkin Park were ok but Green Day are easily one of the best live bands in the world, hands down.
