What are japan's strengths and weaknesses?

Not sure if this can answer much, but I'm doing a project on Japan for American Studies, and I found out about its constitution from around the 1940's or something. Japan, due to i think it's 9th article can't seek out war as it states that a country doesn't just have the right to do so. Only under its International Peace-Keeping Law can it become involved in most anything of that nature. This could be seen as a hinderance I suppose. XD sorry that this is such a rushed paragraph, but i suddenly came across this, and am in a hurry.
