Martha's Vineyard is the most popular. However some want to see Salem where the witch trials happened, some want to see the historic buildings in Boston, some want to see Plymouth Rock, and some would want to sail along the coast or go to the beaches.
masschuetts has many attractions beginning with Boston itself with the Quincy market with the freedom trail of paul revere to fanuel hall. the city of Boston has many musuems and art galleries. on the eastern end of Massachusetts there is cape cod which is a giant tourist attraction in the summer and also in the winter when you can see the fury of the Atlantic Ocean .you can also visit many of the small towns on the ocean north of Boston. next is my favorite the western mountains the berkshires which offers some of the best spots to watch the fall foliage and a quick visit to Norman Rockwell museum although it won;t be quick once you see the paintings that were covers for the Saturday evening post between Connecticut and vermont and New York state and the Atlantic ocean you will be amazed how fast your vacation went and you will yearn to come back
