North America is the native range of the luna moth (Actias luna).

Specifically, the moth in question is native to the United States of America east of the Mississippi River. Their range spills over the southern and northern boundaries of the continental United States. In Canada, they range from Manitoba eastward all the way to Nova Scotia.
