check every electrical connection, check for spark, check for fuel pressure, is there gas? etc...check all the basics as if it's just a vehicle that won't start, don't assume that because its "new" and you just replaced it, that this CAN'T POSSIBLY be the cause...read up of troubleshooting guidelines... everyone should have a manual for their vehicle, and a professional shop manual should be available at your local library in the reference section, make copies of the appropriate pages, and good luck:)
If the timing chain is noisy , otherwise if you are having the engine rebuilt
was the engine removed before the overhaul or was the overhaul carried out in the vehicle? was the engine removed before the overhaul or was the overhaul carried out in the vehicle?

The 5.0 liter Ford engine can be installed in a 2002 Ford Ranger. However, it will require the matching transmission, a custom driveshaft, custom motor mounts, and a customized suspension due to the weight. All connections to the engine require updating as well, and custom linkages for the transmission, and requires custom speedometer gearing.
Their are very few physical advantages of having a rebuilt engine. The only actual advantage of having a rebuilt engine is that it is much cheaper than a new engine.
First, head gaskets are not rebuilt. They are replaced and on V6's and V8's they must be replaced in pairs. If properly installed, the engine will be as good as new(that is if everything else with the engine is ok. The only bad thing would be is if some hack did the job and cut corners.

If they are both auto and 4X4 then the trans will go right in. If they are both 4.0L, it should be a perfect swap. Dan the tranny man

Rebuilt engine for your Jeep Wrangler may price from 1k to 1.5 k $, depending on the condition of engine you choose.
Depends on the damage. They can be rebuilt if they are not wrecked so it can't be repaired
A rebuilt engine can be bought for about $800. The old engine has to be returned after it is removed from youir car. The new engine has to be installed at a cost of about $2500. Parts attached to the engine may need replacement -- the alternator, the pollution control devices, the fuel injectors, etc. Total cost could run as high as $6000.
