Between Hinduism and Buddhism there is some common tradition and the Buddha was a Hindu, but generally Hindus believe in a God and Buddhists do not. I am a Buddhist.
As to Islam it is an Abrahamic faith just like Christianity and Judaism are, meaning they trace there heritage back to Abraham and all believe in the same creator God. After that there are other similarities in the 3 but far more differences.
There are not that many similarities between Buddhism and Hinduism. Buddhism goes for inner enlightenment and Hinduism goes for pagan worship of many false deitys. Those are the two that originated in South Asia. Both are false paths that don't lead to heaven, that is what they have in common.
They all share the same good morals, the non racism, the mutual respect, and the striving for the benefit of mankind and environment.
Sikhism is a completely differnet religon. guru nanak said "i am neither Hindu nor Muslim".
Like all religions, Hinduism uses imaginary entities to explain complicated phenomena and to attempt to control peoples behavior.
