Qur'an explains the common words between us as follows:

  • Qur'an

[3.64]:"Say: 'People of the Book (Jews and Christians), let us come to a common word

between us and you that we will worship none except Allah (The God),

that we will associate none with Him, and that none of us take

others for lords besides Allah.'…"

Torah and Injil (Old and New testaments) also confirms Quran: {no they don't. UG}

  • Old Testament:

Deuteronomy 4:39: "... that the Lord He is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else"; Deuteronomy 6:4: "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord", (Isaiah 43:10-11): "... that ye may know and believe Me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour"; (Isaiah 44:6): "Thus saith the Lord ... I am the first, and I am the last, and beside Me there is no God"; (Isaiah 45:18): "For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God Himself that formed the earth and made it; He hath established it, He created it not in vain, He formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else."

You should also read Deuteronomy 4:35; Exodus 8:10; II Samuel 7:22; I Kings 8:23; I Chronicles 17:20; Psalms 86:8, 89:6 and 113:5; Hosea 13:4; and Zechariah 14:9.

  • New Testament:

Mark 12:29, Jesus himself said: "And Jesus answered him: 'The first of all the commandments is: Hear, O Israel: The Lord OUR God is one Lord."

I Corinthians 8:4: "... we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one"; (I Timothy 2:5): "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."

Answer_C_">Answer C

Muslims believe in Isa (The Arabic name of Jesus) and in Mary the virgin. But we don't believe that Jesus is God's son nor that he was crucified, instead God took him to the 4th sky where he is staying and that he'll return to earth, fight and kill the Antichrist, and live a normal life, die and be buried next to Mohamed in Mecca.

Islam also believes in Moses the starter of Judaism. and in a lot of other prophets sent to Jews.

Note that in Islam the god 'Allah' has no children or partners, so Moses and Jesus are just prophets of Allah {in your opinion}

Answer D Muslims, Christians and Jews all trace their origins to the Prophet and Patriarch Abraham and their three prophets are direct descendants from Abraham's sons - Muhammad from the eldest, Ishmael, and Moses and Jesus from Isaac (peace be upon them all).

Muslims particularly respect and revere Jesus. They consider him one of the greatest of God's prophets and messengers. A Muslim never refers to him simply as "Jesus", but always adds the phrase "peace be upon him." The Qur'an confirms his virgin birth, and a special chapter of the Qur'an is entitled "Mary" in honor of the mother of Jesus.

Jesus was born miraculously through the same power that had brought Adan (peace be upon them both) into being without a father:

"Truly the likeness of Jesus with God is as the likeness of Adam. He created him of dust and then said to him, 'Be!' and he was." (Qur'an 3:59)

During his prophetic mission, Jesus (peace be upon him) performed many miracles. The Qur'an tells us that he said:

"I have come to you with a sign from your Lord: I make for you out of clay a figure of a bird, and breathe into it and it becomes a bird by God's leave. And I heal the blind, and the lepers, and I raise the dead by God's leave." (Qur'an 3:49) {these are just fanciful stories}

Neither Muhammad nor Jesus (peace be upon them) came to change the basic doctrine of the belief in One God, brought by earlier prophets, but to confirm and renew it. {and in the case of Islam, twist it beyond all recognition}

Answer E They all teach "Brotherly Love," but choose to ignore it. The Teacher becomes more important than the teachings. Answer F Islam (Quran) denies Christians worshiping Jesus as the Son of God. The Quran even commands Muslims call Christians and Jews to worship one and only God with no partner and no son.

Quran:9.30: The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!

The Quran ridicules the concept of the Son of God in Christianity in suras

23:91, 37:151, 72:3, 112:1-4.

The commonality between the three religions from is Abraham. Abraham is the father of the Jewish nation. He is also claimed to be the father of the illegitimate son Ishmael. Mohammed is an Ishmaelite. Christians are also spiritual sons of Abraham because their religion originated in Judaism.

all rely on the Old Testament in writing laws of their faith

Answer G

All identify their faith as monotheistic.

Short Answer

All three -- Judaism, Islam, and Christianity -- share a common history with Abraham.

Updated Answer

The three religions are revelations by God, the same one and only one God. The morals in the three religions are almost the same except few details.

All the three religions believe in:

  • The All Mighty All Merciful God
  • Day of Judgment and second eternal life
  • Hell and Paradise
  • The angels

The three God religions are similar in that:
  • Prophets of the three religions are descendants of the prophet Abraham (Ibrahim). However Muslims believe in all God prophets from Adam through Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (peace be upon them all) but Jews dont believe in Jesus and Muhammad and Christians don't believe in Muhammad.
  • The three religions call for the same God (named Allah in Arabic) worshiping
  • They also follow the basic ten commandments
  • The three religions call for practicing same basic ritual worships (although different in the rituals) as praying, fasting, alms giving, etc.
  • The three religions call for the same morals that governs human relationships.
Muslims call Christians and Jews as "people of the book" as they are holders of the God holy books; Torah and the Bible; that Muslims believe that these books are revelation of God to the God prophets Moses and Jesus; respectively.

The most important unifying characteristic is that the followers of the three religions worship same God, the Creator. The prophets of the three religions call for worship the same God and call for full submission to God will (that means Islam in Arabic).

The three religions call their followers to pray for God, Alms giving, and fasting although the rituals are different
