you pull UP on the handle to latch the door, may have to pull hard. Slamming may latch also but is not the correct way.

On the 1979 B200 Sportsman V8 if the brake pedal makes all signal lights come on and hazards and flashers do not work on their own, it could be the flasher, but the culprit could also be a burned out bulb or a short in the wiring.

If I remember correctly, I set the timing to about 14 degrees advanced....I think. Whatever it was, it's 4 degrees further advanced than what the specifications called for. The engine will run smoother and with more power. I'm not sure if it would pass the SMOG test though. Not required where I live.
