Unlike Hinduism, Islam does not have a formal Caste System that divides people into social classes. It does, however, recognise the difference between free people and slaves. A Muslim cannot be enslaved, but a slave who converts to Islam is not automatically freed, so there can in theory be some Muslim slaves.
