Viyo is a prebiotic drink that helps to reinforce the natural resistance of cats and dogs. Viyo can be best compared with Actimel or Yakult for humans.
As with humans, 70% of the natural defence system of a dog or cat is located in the intestines. Healthy intestinal functioning is therefore crucial to strong resistance. Improved intestinal functioning helps cats and dogs stay in top form.
Viyo helps enhance natural defenses in 3 ways:
1. Intestinal Bacteria
Viyo contains FOSim+. The formula ensures that the active prebiotic components Fructooligosaccharide (FOS) and inulin are efficiently taken up, due to the liquid formula, where they are needed the most: in the intestines. Here, they raise the number of good bacteria which support natural defenses. The prebiotic active nutritional fibres stimulate the development and activity of positive intestinal bacteria, such as bifidus and lactobacillus. As a result, more good bacteria are present in the intestines to fight disease causing germs and to prevent intestinal infections.
2. Intestinal Wall
The intestinal wall works like a filter through which positive nutrients are absorbed into the body and damaging bacteria are stopped. The intestinal wall is covered with a biofilm intended to prevent bad germs from penetrating the organ. Viyo promotes production of this biofilm: after all, a thicker biofilm constitutes a more efficient barrier.
3. Immune System
Viyo stimulates the response capacity of the immune system in the intestines so that damaging bacteria are more easily fought.
Viyo can be fed as is or mixed with water.
Currently Viyo is available for 3 different life stages: Kitten - Adult - Senior. Viyo is available through 3 different channels, with adapted formulas of the product: Retail, Breeders and the more potent Veterinary product.
Viyo is produced in Belgium by Viyo International NV and is currently available in the following countries: United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Poland, Bulgaria, Russia, Japan.
The Viyo brand name originates from the combination of the two words "Vitality" and "Youth" put together.
IngredientsChicken broth, spray dried chicken liver, dried chicken meat, chicken fat, maltodextrins, dried milk protein (lactose-free), lecithin, canola oil, modified starch, dextrose, powdered cellulose, inulin, fructooligosacharide, guar gum, salt, natural and artificial flavors, taurine, Vitamin A Acetate, Calcium Panthotenate, Choline CHloride, Vitamin E Supplement, Thiamine Mononitrate (source of Vitamin B1), Niacin, Riboflavin Supplement (Source of Vitamin B2), Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Source of vitamin B6), Vitamin D3 Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Folic Acid, Biotin, Calcium Carbonate, Ferrous Sulfate, Zinc Oxide, Manganese Sulfate. Nutrition FactsViyo contains Fosim+, a liquid prebiotic formula that increases the quantity of healthy bacteria in the intestines. Fosim+ is a formula that contains the active prebiotic components fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) and inulin in a unique and highly palatable liquid formula. Thanks to the liquid formula, Fosim+ is taken up into the intestines quicker and more effectively and guarantees a better effect than tablets or other powder or diet formulations. Here, the fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) and inulin increase the number of good bacteria, which support natural defenses. The prebiotic fibres fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) and inulin from Fosim+ ferment in the large intestine and, as a result, the growth of healing bacteria in the intestines is boosted, to the detriment of potentially damaging variants. Average consumption of 0.1 g of fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) and inulin per day is considered to be effective. This corresponds with a daily, 30 ml portion of Viyo.Recommended Daily Intake (amount below may be given as single daily feeding or split into two feedings per day)

Prebiotic chemistry is the field of study involving the spontaneous chemical reactions which may have led to the formation of biomolecules and/or life on early Earth. In general, prebiotic chemistry includes all possible abiotic reaction pathways leading from inorganic substances to organic substances to biomolecules or bio-like molecules.
Disadvantages are that they can wreck your teeth 'cos of the high sugar/sweetener content. Advantages are they taste great. =/
they are help ful in spoiling our health and using them can clean our toilets
Carrot fiber
Soluble fiber is considered a prebiotic because all prebiotics are fiber. However, not all fibers are prebiotic. Insoluble fiber helps transport solids through the digestive system, but soluble fiber helps stimulate intestinal bacteria associated with health and wellness.
Yes, but I would strongly suggest that you only feed a probiotic, prebiotic or vitamin/mineral supplement that is approved for use in dogs. Human supplements and dietary aids can have inert ingredients that are harmless to humans but potentially dangerous for dogs or cats.
There are many advantages to business class airfare. One can wait in a shorter line to check in as well as to board. Once on the aircraft there are amenities such as real china and free drinks.
Prebiotic chemical evolution gave rise to progressively more complex molecules and eventually to living organisms
