There are multiple advantages. 1. You obtain peace, relax, meet new people, come across many cultures, eat varieties of food, 2. sight seeing which is a treat to the eyes, totally a new window is opened to the new world which will make you feel that you are lucky to be born on earth as a 'human being; and you love to take a rebirth and start loving god. Other travel spots are common but taking a trip with a pilgrim group is different, the joy can be defined only through self experience, no words to explain.

Pilgrimages often involve rituals, traditions, and a sense of devotion, while holidays are generally more focused on relaxation and recreation.
