Remove the 4 screws holding the top cover. You can then get to the plug wires and the plugs.
Remove cover on top of engine, pull plug wires straight up.The spark plugs will be down in a hole for each cylinder. You need a spark plug socket and a long extention to reach them.
You have bad wires. No wires should ark.If you get a fuel leak or hot oil leak your gonna have a bad fire. There are hold down clips there, if there gone use cable ties. But get good hi temp wires first. Good luck
1342 1342 is the firing order of the cylinders, the question was order of the plug wires between the plugs and the distributor, which I have found from another source, the sequence from the distributor starting at the top is: top plug goes to #1 cylinder (far left), second plug goes to #4 cylider (far right), third plug goes to #2 cylinder and fourth plug goes to #3 cylinder. Hope this helps some people since I couldn't find it anywhere online. I also believe this is the same for all Daewoo models in this age range with 4 cylinder motors as this sequence came off a Nubira but worked for my Lanos.
Tough job for an amateur, I've been told the whole front panel must be removed, and you could easily disconnect some of the wires behind. Тhe best way is visiting an auto electrician.
Disconnect the battery, remove the spark plugs wires and boots and remove the spark plugs. Put in the spark plugs, replace the spark plug wires and boots, and connect the battery.
try putting fuel injector cleaner in your gas. its bout 4 bucks a bottle put it in after filling the tank. then drive till your empty to make sure you use all the cleaning agent ( little tip stay close to home or by gas stations) if that don't work. try changing the fuel filter now the last thing it might be is the coil isn't sending a signal to the spark plugs.
pull the plastic cover off the valve cover (top of motor) you will see 4 plug wires going strait into the top of the motor pull on each plug boot then use a 5/8 sparkplug socket and a 6" extention plugs come out easy. however if you leave the rubber in the plug socket it may be tuff to retrieve socket from new plug. good luck
There are electrical wires all around the vehicle. If you are looking for spark plug wires, it does not have any. It has individual coils directly on each spark plug. There are electrical wires all around the vehicle. If you are looking for spark plug wires, it does not have any. Intermittent starting problems in a Daewoo vehicle might be caused by a number of things. The ignition module is a good place to start. Check for broken or loose wires. Also check the spark plug sensors, the battery, the MAP sensor and the EGR valve.
The spark plug wires on your 1994 Chevrolet Caprice are quite easy to change. The spark plug wires simply lift off on each end. Put the new spark plug wires on and push until you feel a click.
You will see wires right on top of the motor. You can easily follow these wires to the spark plugs.
