The best way to communicate is either in person or over the phone. While email seems to be the easiest way, I don't believe it's the best way. You can hear or see a reaction to your conversation via email. I also believe an email can be taking out of context just by the way its written.

It all depends on what type of information is being transmitted and why. Many times it is best to communicate in writing, especially if you will need proof the information was transmitted. Email, voicemail, phone, messenger, sending flowers, through a friend, in person, visual presentation- are all other possibilities depending on the circumstances. However, not any one is thebest way since there are many reasons communication is necessary.
