You squirt it into the fill hole on the pass side of the trans case after removing the fill plug.
You fill the transmission fluid on the 1988 F250 diesel at the dipstick of the transmission. You will need a filler funnel in order to keep spillage to a minimum.
The fill/check plug is on the driver side of the transmission case. The fluid should be level with the bottom of the hole. You need a 3/8 inch allen wrench to remove the plug.

Well what kind of a transmission is it bolted up to? different transmissions hold different amounts of transmission fluid and a 6.5 liter diesel will bolt up to several different transmissions.
