According to the owners manual : 2.3 L engine - with A/C - 7.2 quarts ( 6.8 liters ) without A/C - 6.5 quarts ( 6.2 liters ) 3.0 L engine - with A/C - 10.2 quarts ( 9.6 L ) without A/C - 9.5 quarts ( 9.0 L ) 4.0 L engine - with A/C - 8.6 quarts (8.1 L ) without A/C - 7.8 quarts ( 7.4 L ) I thought it was strange that the 3.0 L had a greater coolant system capacity than the 4.0 L until I noticed that the 3.0 L takes 1/2 quart less engine oil - which also cools the engine
