Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all have roots that go back to Abraham.
Judaism follows writings up to the prophets, and study the history mainly of the descendants of Jacob, Abraham's grandson.
Christianity considers the writings of Judaism (under the name Old Testament) to be part of The Bible, but follows more closely the New Testament, which is based on Jesus and his followers.
Islam reveres Abraham--and Jesus, for that matter--but considers earlier writings to be superseded by the Koran.
Judaism is the oldest of the three, focusing on the covenant between God and the Jewish people. Christianity believes in Jesus as the son of God and savior of humanity. Islam sees Muhammad as the final prophet and the Quran as the holy book. Each religion has different beliefs, practices, and interpretations of scripture.
Abraham is considered the person central to the holy covenant in all three major religions - Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. God promised Abraham descendants and land, and this covenant is considered foundational to the beliefs of all three faiths.
Abraham and Moses are considered prophets in the Abrahamic religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. They are revered figures in all three faiths for their leadership, teachings, and guidance in spreading monotheism.
Abraham was descended from Sham, the son of Noah who were allegedly members of the Horite Tribe. Abraham's father was named Terah, and his mother was named Amathlaah. Terah and Amathiaah were allegedly half-brother, half-sister.
God and Messiah Jesus Christ, though Jewish people believe in the Messiah, most don't recognize yet that it is Jesus. While Muslims believe in Jesus from their scripture they don't recognize Christ yet for who he really is. The prophet Abraham is viewed highly by all 3 religions.
According to biblical tradition, Enoch was believed to have lived before Abraham. Enoch is described as a righteous man who walked with God and was taken up to heaven before his death. Abraham, on the other hand, is known for being the father of the three major monotheistic religions – Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
That might refer to Abraham.
