Christianity does not come in different branches. Either it's Christianity, or it's NOT Christianity.

The Bible statesthat just because a particular religion calls itself 'Christian' does not mean that it is. Anyone can call themselves whatever they want. Just because someone says they believe in Jesus, does not mean that Jesus accepts them as his genuine disciples.

The Bible itself states in Matt 7:21-23: (New Century Version) "Not all those who say 'You are our Lord' will enter the kingdom of heaven. The only people who will enter the kingdom of heaven are those who do what my Father in heaven wants. 22 On the last day many people will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, we spoke for you, and through you we forced out demons and did many miracles.' 23 Then I will tell them clearly, 'Get away from me, you who do evil. I never knew you.'

Example: Most religions who call themselves 'Christian' out of one side of their mouth; with the other side of their mouth they teach the concept of 'eternal torment'.

Yet The Bible teaches that 'God is LOVE'. God is compassionate. The two concepts, are not compatible. Either 'God is LOVE' or God 'torments eternally'. It can't be both. One concept honors God's true personality; the other dishonors and slanders God's personality.

Titus 1:16 states: (CEB) "They claim to know God, but they deny God by the things that they do. They are detestable, disobedient, and disqualified to do anything good."

The Bible states in 1 Cor 1:10 that Christ's disciples not be split into groups, or divided into branches: (NCV) ". . . . that all of you agree with each other and not be split into groups. I beg that you be completely joined together by having the same kind of thinking and the same purpose."
