Communism could actually work very well in a perfect world, the problems lie with humanity, the system makes it very easy for the few to rule the many, the rich to opress the poor. The old saying by Thomes Jefferson (My personal favorite president) "People should not fear their government, the government should fear its people" rings very true in this system. Economic growth is also stifled due to wealth redistribution. And it is shown time and again throughout history that personal freedoms are tramped upon and taken away. I feel that greed for money and power are the main reasons for the corruption of this particular system. In an imperfect world communism just doesn't work.
they limit one child per family and if its a girl they cant pass down their riches to them so they donate the girl and keep trying for a boy. they also think boys are better because they do better work outside and such. china is also very dirty.

In Russia religious freedom and tolerance was allowed, but in China and Vietnam they didn't allow religious freedom at all. China did not legalize Christianity until the year 2003, before that they killed people for their faith.
Poverty is the most obvious effect. The salaries paid to Cuban workers under this system are probably among the lowest in the world. That being said, Cuba is a communist nation in name only. In reality, it is no different than any other Dictatorship in the world. Castro counts among his personal friends other dictators who are fanatically anti-communist. Communism is just a convenient excuse used by the Castro brothers to control all the industries and all the wealth, while denying the Cuban people freedom.
Whether North Korea is an actual communist state is a debated topic due to contradictory notions of communism that exist in the modern world. As a bureaucratic dictatorship, however, North Korea's strangehold on its population and pursuit of autarky have isolated it from the world and significantly hurt its economic development.
Communism is a classless society, consequently there will be no poverty or homelessness or borders or wars.

Consequences of communism
China's embrace of Communism forced a complete realignment of foreign policy. While China had been under Nationalist control, it was a strong ally of the West. However, with a new Communist government, China had to reorient its foreign policy towards the Soviet Union.
