In the food pyramid we have:
The top, smallest layer, consisting of fatty foods and candy
The 2nd layer, with meat, fish, poultry and dairy products
The 3rd layer, vegetables
And the widest layer, the 4th layer, with cereals, bread, rice, pasta etc.
Apart from that one should drink about 3 glasses of water each day.
Foods for the dairy group of the food pyramid are yogurt cheese milk
Because your body need less portions of the food at the top.
Foods that are beneficial are foods that have healthy benefits for the body. These could be any foods from the food pyramid, with exception of junk food.
The top has the healthy foods. The bottom has unhealthier foods. This is the reason the 'food pyramid guy' is running the steps to the top. He does this for nutritious food and exercise(Both good for you.)

The foods that are at the top of the pyramid (fats) are the foods that you shouldn't eat so much of (that's why it's so small). The foods at the bottom of the pyramid (carbs) they recommend you eat the most of (that's why it's so big).
