The 2 wheel drive model had 195-75-R15 and the 4 wheel drive was 205-75-R15 as standard equipment on those cars both in 1995 and 1996. Because of the design of the whell wells, you could easily put larger rims up to probably 18, 19 inches if you used a lower profile (30 or 40 series tire) on the car. The suspension, if stiff can accomodate an even wider tire, but it's no fun when you go through water and the portion of the wheel sticking outside of the fenderwell throws all of the water up into the passenger compartment.
Dextero tires are cheap tires made in Singapore. Buy Goodyear.
Goodyear Tracker 2 tires can be purchased from Walmart. These tires hug the road securely and are an exceptional value for their high quality. They are also very quiet.
p275-16s are near the limit. You'll have to gear down your front and rear diff, otherwise the big tires will bog you down on the highway.
on my 92 tracker with 1.6 motor i get about 20 to 21 to the gal.
On our 1993 Geo Tracker, we have the stock 15 inch rims on it and we just put 235 70 r 15's on it and they work great, don't rub anywhere, and i think that's probably the biggest you'll be puttin on a tracker unless you raise it.
20" tires are the largest tires for your car if you of course don't have any lift kits..
the tires could fit, but will rub when you turn. I have a 92 Tracker, but they are the same style i believe.
