Water is excellent for you, and you need to drink lots of it, as 76% of your body is water. However, some surveys suggest that too much water causes a decrease in sperm count in men, though this is not 100% proven.

Non-potable water is, by defination, not drinkable. There may be bacteria, impurites, chemicals, pathogens, parasites etc. in it. Those things could all make you sick in different ways. If you drink bad water in a stream or lake, you could get parasites that will live inside you. If you drink bad water from a place where humans and/or animals are also using the bathroom near it, you could get very sick from bacteria. If you drink bad water where there is garbage, run-off etc., like near a dump or farm or factory, you could get sick from chemicals.

Possibly nothing, possibly you get sick, possibly you die. It all depends on if it is contaminated, what it is contaminated with, how much contamination there is, and how much you drink.

The main thing that causes water to be identified as nonpotable is that it comes from a source that might be contaminated and is untested.

I have accidentally drunk nonpotable water a few times with no bad effects at all. But I absolutely do not recommend doing this!

There are a lot of consequences of drinking dirty water. A few of them are; Diarrhea, Dehydration, Nausea, Intestinal or Stomach aches, and even Death! Dirty water can become clean water by being filtered using filter machines, or, you can do it the original way( Use the cleanest cloth and pour your dirty water through it and into a bowl. Then boil it for a good count of 2 hundred). Hope this helped!

Is pee good for you to drink?

Under normal circumstances, drinking water is not dangerous to your health and is, indeed, beneficial to your health. However, if you drink an extremely excessive amount of water, that can harm your health or even kill you, and if the water you are drinking is contaminated with toxic pollutants or with germs, that too can be dangerous to your health.
