The largest tyers that will fit a stok wrangler is 31" about 99% sure. 31's is as far as you can go....know from experience I have a stock 2000 Wrangler and have 32x10.5-15 and have no problems i have a 98 Jeep Wrnagler and i got 33 x 12.5 15" alum.American Racers under my stock Jeep with no problems. Didnt cut nothing or remove anything the yj will fit 31x 10.50's for sure. I have run them for a few years with minimal tire scrub.... However i did recently install a 1 inch body lift and that reduced most all of the rubbing i did have. I have a 97 Wrangler SE. I recently put 32x10.5-15 on it. They are 5" taller than the stock 27" (P205/75-R15). They rubbed whenever I made a u-turn, so I installed a 2" Skyjacker suspension lift. They still rub, so now I'm going to install 2" spacers behind the wheels to push them out a bit. I'll let you know how that turns out. ANSWER- this is basically a response to the last answer,, U NEVER REALLY WANT TO USE WHEEL SPACERS, ALTHOUGH UR TIRES ARENT REALLY THAT BIG ANYWAYS,, BUT WHEN U ADD SPACERS U ADD MORE STRESS TO YOUR ALREADY WEAK STOCK AXLES (BELIEVE ME, I SNAP EM ALL THE TIME) BUT ANYWAYS ANY NORMAL 4INCH LIFT (WHETHER A COMBINATION OF SUSPENSION AND BODY OR JUST SUSPENSION-THE PREFERED, IS SUSPENSION ONLY AND NO LARGER THAN A 2 INCH BODY) WILL CLEAR 33'' TIRES, AND A WRANGLER SPORT COMES STOCK 31''S I BELIEVE(THATS WHAT I HAVE) AND I RAN 33 12.50S WITH NO LIFT STUFFIN EM AND SCRUBBIN BUT IT REALLY WASNT EVEN THATBAD THEN WHEN U ADD A LIFT ITS NOTICEABLY DIFFERENT
You can go as large as 31" tires without having to lift it.
As big as you can find.
31
33 inch is what I have read on numerous forums as I have been looking for the same answers
the lift kit is worth putting in it but with out it 33''s
Yes
I have a 2003 wrangler x with 265-r75-15 tires and have no problems.
I doubt it I'm running 31's with stock wheels on my 98 jeep wrangler & they rub when I try to turn to sharp.
Tires for a Jeep Wrangler can be purchased at a tire store, such as Tires, Tires, Tires. This chain of tire stores will not only sell tires, but does repairs on them as well.
no
31" tires with no lift required, if you are planning on going "off road" consider at least a 1" body lift or shakle lift
You should be able to if the lug-nut pattern is the same, given you have the clearance.
