What are the long-term effects of NuvaRing?

I've used the nuva ring for about a year and I've been off it for about a month now. Some noticable side effects I am experiencing is having pregnancy like symptoms. Sore nipples/breast, headaches, fatigue, heartburn, nausea, sensitivity to certain odors, abdominal pain, late/missed period, and bleeding gums. I should have got my period this week but haven't yet, but occording to others experience I've read online some women are having the same side effects after stopping. It's pretty frustrating, because my husband and i wanted to start trying to have a baby and I've taken 3 pregnancy test because of the symptoms I was having, but they were all negative. But from reading others experiences of these same symptoms i feel better knowing i am not the only one who experienced these unfortunate symptoms.
I have had no physical side effects of quitting the nuva ring but my emotions are crazy!! I have felt extremely sad and anxious and confused(a lot of turmoil in my mind) The side effects are supposed to subside after 3 months of quitting any Birth Control...I can't wait to feel normal again.
I was three days late to put my ring in--two days later it must of come out- because I am pregnant!
After you take out Nuva Ring, you'll probably have your typical withdrawal bleeding. After that, your next period will probably arrive in 4-6 weeks, so it might be a little late, and you might have a bit of spotting that month. As ovulation returns, you might notice some ovulatory cramping and ovulatory cervical discharge, and you might notice that your periods are heavier than they were when on Nuva Ring.

There's a lot. Everything from headaches to cramps, also can cause blood clots which could lead to heart attacks and stroke.
Well, for the first few days or so, I experienced mood swings and irritability. I've read Horror stories of hair loss being caused by it, however nothing of the sort has happened to me. :)
The most common side effects of nuva ring include:

• vaginal infections and irritation

Personally, I had nausea for a week the very first time I used a nuva ring, the following two times (you insert a new ring each month) it lasted a day, and since then I have not had any nausea. I have not experienced any of the other side effects of nuva ring.

In addition, side effects of combined hormone contraceptives include:

• vomiting

• change in appetite

• abdominal cramps and bloating

• breast tenderness or enlargement

• irregular vaginal bleeding or spotting

• changes in menstrual cycle

• temporary infertility after treatment

• fluid retention (edema)

• spotty darkening of the skin, particularly on the face

• rash

• weight changes

• depression

• intolerance to contact lenses

• nervousness

• dizziness

• loss of scalp hair
