National holidays are unique to a nation so Spanish National holidays would not be celebrated in other countries. Spain has a strong Roman Catholic history and celebrates many Roman Catholic holidays. Roman Catholic holidays are celebrated according to the ecclesiastical calender of the Church of Rome so they are celebrated the same day all over the world. Other Spanish speaking countries will celebrate these religious holidays the same day as they are celebrated in Spain. If they are a national holiday in Spain that is a coincidence, and a reflection of the Spanish Catholic faith.
Africa celebrates several holidays, including Christmas. Other holidays that are celebrated in Africa are Freedom Day, Worker's Day, and Youth Day.
Canada
I think it helps us learn about how other people celebrate

of course! Like USA celebrates Independence Day on 4th July and Singapore celebrates its birthday on 9th August. Almost any other country celebrates its birthday, no matter what they call it. (Guy Fawkes Day, Independence Day etc etc)
Peru is a predominantly Catholic country so Christian festivals are celebrated with holidays. There are many other festivals which are not publc holidays, for example the indigenous peoples (Quechua etc.) have their celebrations, and there are days to mark various types of employment (for example Teachers' Day)
