∙ 10y agoBasically if too many people use antibiotics for stuff that could be cured with time alone, then the bacteria that are causing the illness can become immune to it by mutations and then the antibiotics won't work on ANYONE because it will he like you've created a whole new illness and people in real need of the cure won't have it. This is why doctors should only give out antibiotics if you need them to get better.
