Though there are many amongst the Whit Ethnicity, you can tie them most with Anglo saxon/Scandinavian origin, as well as Mediterranean Origin. Some come with a rather lighter complexion and Blonde, Red, and lighter brown hair with a combination of Wavy hair. Most Are considered above or around the average height of 5'7'' and have a low melanin count.
Technically this is not a reasonable question. Historically most people living in what is now France are of Caucasian descent, but Immigration (colonial and otherwise), intermarriage and European unification have made France a much more ethnically diverse country than it once was. [...]
However, quite a few French people do have the same types of characteristics just the same as africans, asians, amercians, and Islamic people do. A good amount of French do tend to have a more olive tinted skin with generally dark features. most have slightly large eyes and quite a bit of definition in their noses and brows. People may disagree with that fact but it is true.

Second opinion:
"Ethnic French" people, that is, descendants of the Francophone speaking peoples of Europe, generally look either Northern European (that is, fairer skin, blue eyes, blond hair) or Southern European (that is, somewhat tanned skin, brown eyes, dark hair).
This is however, a generalization. Yes, France is a very diverse country, many "ethnic French" may have some non-ethnic-French background as well, and a large number of French nationals are non-ethnic-French.
The English have both Germanic and Celtic strains and are similar to the people of Northern and north-Western Europe. In terms of stature, they are similar to other people of Northern Europe. Generally they are long-headed, even more so than people of most of Holland, Germany. In order to understand the pigmentation of the English, we have to acknowledge the areas which were in historically strongly settled by Germanics(Anglo-Saxons, Frisians,Vikings) are more in the east, remaining Celtic settlement or areas where many Celts fled are more in the west. The English as a whole, are very fair-skinned, many have skins which are tanning-deficient and are paler than many Northern Europeans. This character is more obvious as one goes west. Hair color is quite diverse among the English, however seems to be darker or more brunet as one goes west and blonder as one goes east and north-east. The areas of England near Wales(e.g. Cornwall) are the darkest and those by the North Sea are lightest. Red/reddish hair is more common in the north and west, actually the English have a higher proportion of people with red hair and freckles than most Northern Europeans. The exceptions are the Celtic peoples of the British Isles. In eye color, the English are predominantly light and lightish, with the north more light than the south. So the 'average' English person is tallish, with a lean to medium build, very pale/freckled in complexion, light to medium brown hair and blue eyes. Nevertheless as in every population, there is always diversity.
Having white skin (actually pink or light brown skin) is a so-called racial condition and not an ethnic condition. There are many different ethnicities among people with who are considered to be "white", and different distinguishing physical characteristics to go with them.
I would say there are a few major types:
-the ones with predominant latin ancestry (dark hair, dark eyes, convex Roman nose, square jaw, women with wide hips, high cheekbones)
-the ones with predominant Hungarian ancestry: lighter hair, brown, or blonde, brown eyes, a rather long face, a longer distance between the nose and upper lip is a typical trait
-the ones with predominant slavic ancestry: blonde hair, sometimes very curly, often green/ blue eyes, slender body, women with narrower hips (these traits are due to the fact that slavic ppl who came to romanian territories married and had children mainly within their community, thus hair got blonder, eyes turned blue etc )
-the ones with predominant gypsy ancestry: darker skin, dark hair, brown or green eyes, sharper features, high cheekbones, square jaw
Having black skin is a so-called racial condition and not an ethnic condition. There are many different ethnicities among people with sub-Saharan ancestry, and different distinguishing physical characteristics to go with them.

It isn't scientifically possible to estimate physical characteristics with nothing more to go on than the ethnicities of the parents.
The race of a person is determined by their physical characteristics, such as skin color. However, ethnicity refers to a person's cultural background, including factors like nationality, ancestry, and cultural customs. Without more information about your son's specific background, it is not possible to determine his ethnicity solely based on his appearance of being black and white.
