I have found that the parking brake lever sensor will sometimes go bad or get out of allignment. Look around the EB lever and see if you can see a sensor connected to it. I had to re-bend mine to readjust it cause it just stayed on. I have a 95 Wrangler so I cant say exactly where yours is located. It is also possible that the sensor is just bad. Just play with it and see if manipulating it will make the light go off. Then adjust accordingly. Hope this helps you. Good luck.
frist make syre your rear brakes are ajusted properly then try your parking brake
Take off the brake caliper, and brake rotor, under the rotor is a parking brake shoe, that is probably wore down and needs replaces. I
