Despite all the advantages that we can get out of the use of social media, there are also consequences that we can get if we don't use it responsibly. Privacy issue is the greatest problem that social media can bring to an individual and society. Social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter rely primarily on communication so they obliged us to provide certain amount of personal information and offer different type of communication mechanisms such as chat and forums to connect with people that we may or may not know personally.Giving personal information online is tantamount to giving up some part of your privacy.
