I don't asume that there is a psychological reason that some do talk louder. I myself happen to be one of those people and it seems my sister is that way also,my two brothers are not. It could be do to the pitch of the voice as I am a alto. My sister and I were always being told to tone it down by my mother and grandmother as kids.
