A comparative analysis of these two religions would show the similarities and the differences between them.

One similarity is that they both worship (or claim to worship!) the same God.

One difference is that Judaism is still awaiting the messiah, whereas Christianity believes that Jesus Christ is/was the messiah.

There are many more similarities and differences, which a comprehensive comparative analysis will show.

Following are some of the similarities between Christians and Jews. Both believe that there is only one God. While the Jewish people believe in a total of 613 commandments, they see the ten commandments as categories of commandments rather than an inclusive list. Both religions also reject Atheism and polytheism.

Jews do not believe that Jesus is God but a prophet. Christians are basically Jews who followed Jesus. Christians focus more on the New Testament (They do have the Old Testament) while Jews only have the Old Testament.
