Your body needs more oxygen than anything. The blood supplies the oxygen to the muscles when exercising and it allows the muscles to continue working for a bit longer than they would when they have a little amount of oxygen supplied to them.
Also, your body could use more energy than usual. Something sugary could help this. Or protein shakes. Jelly babies are quite good for a sugary outburst as they have been said to have the quickest effect on your body.
