A shuttering when the clutch engages
yes, u need to disconnect drive shafts to enable you to remove trans mission to get at cluth and pressure plate
if cluth sleep you need to chek your cable first cuz it may be over adjusting stucking the pressure plate release
If you're talking about the pressure plate and clutch plate, you need to remove the transfer case and transmission. If you have a substantial enough transmission jack, you can remove the t-case, transmission, and bell housing all as one unit. If not, you'll need to remove each component individually. Once you've got the bell housing off, you replace the clutch plate and pressure plate. While you're at it, you should replace the pilot bearing and throwout bearing, as well, and inspect your clutch fork for damage, and replace if needed. Once you put the clutch plate and pressure plate back on, it's absolutely imperative that you torque them to specification. Once all that's done, you put the bell housing, transmission, and t-case back on, then reconnect your driveshafts.
Typically, yes. When a clutch engages it is the result of the springs of the pressure plate pinching the clutch plate into the flywheel. Anything that results in less pressure against the clutch plate will result in slipping. A worn damaged plate spring can end up creating less pressure. A worn clutch plate will not be as thick resulting in less pressure. Slipping can also be caused by oil that may have leaked onto the clutch plate. Unfortunately, the only way you can determine the cause of the problem will be to remove either the transmission or the engine so that you can examine the clutch assembly.
To replace the pressure switch on a Jacuzzi spa you need to disconnect the wires from the thermostat to the pressure switch. Remove the pressure switch, replace with new one, and reattach the thermostat wires.
If it is a stright stick, then the clutch is sliping. Need to replace clutch and pressure plate and turn fly-wheel. Replace throw out bearing If it is a automatic trans then it's burnt up. NEEDS REBUILT
Yes you can. You need to replace the clutch when you realize its starting to go out. You will mess up with gears. When a clutch fails, it is usually due to a worn clutch disk or worn springs in the pressure plate. If you continue to drive the car with a worn disk, the rivets on the disk will eventually start to rub against the pressure plate or flywheel. You will then have to resurface the flywheel and replace the pressure plate. Before replacing a clutch, make sure it is adjusted properly, since an out of adjustment clutch will slip and act like it is worn out.
Easy just bolt it to the fly wheel. hey presto new clutch. I suggest getting a manual that shows how to to this ...its not that difficult of a job but does require an alignment tool to correctly align the clutch disc and pressure plate. Tool is inexpensive... You will need to replace the clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing ,check and maybe replace the pilot bearing and either have the flywheel resurfaced or replaced.
If it become noisy or your vehicle becomes hard to start or stalls you may need a new pump. Replace the filter first. If the symptoms persist then a fuel pressure test will verify the condition of the pump.
When the pressure becomes erratic time to replace
You need a torx screwdriver....
Need to know what the symptoms are and any codes it has.
