The timing is controled by the ecm.Answer
i looked in a book for this car and it said the cam at top has a pointer on the pully and has to line up with a dot on the block which is rite behind the pully, now keep in mind there is a plastic backplate that will have to be removed before you can see it, now the crank, which is at bottom will have a mark on block also, line the keyway on crankshaft with the mark,it's going to be alot of work just to get to where you can see these marks, may even have to raise the engine before you can line these up, make sure you keep a check on no.1 piston when setting cam shaft, no. 1 has to be up when you line the marks, good luck and have fun.
There are no timing marks. The timing is controlled by the PCM. Power control module. It is not possible to set the timing with a timing gun.
It has no timing marks because the ignition timing is set by the computer and isn't adjustable.
May be computer controlled and not adjustable
You can set the camshaft timing on your automobile by lining up the timing marks. There will be timing marks on the front main pulley and timing marks on the camshaft.

There should be timing marks on the pulley & you simply align them. Crank at 12/cam at 6.
There's no way to set timing. Just align marks on camshaft and crankshaft during belt installation. There may be another problem if your car is still running rough.

If memory serves me correctly, the timing marks will be behind the timing belt cover. There will be marks on the gears and also marks on the block. Line the top gear with the top mark and the bottom gear with the bottom mark. Please note that you will need to undo the battery for a few minutes and then reconnect. This allows the computer to reset itself. Hope this helps
