The tropics is the area of the globe near the Equator. The northernmost portion lies in the Tropic of Cancer, and the southernmost portion lies in the Tropic of Capricorn. Though most of the region has a consistent warmth and moisture, there are certain locales within the tropics that do not have tropical climates, such as Mount Kilimanjaro or the Australian Outback.
The tropic of Cancer and the tropic of Capricorn.
tropic of cancer and the tropic of capricorn
There are two. The Tropic of Capricorn (southern)and the tropic of Cancer (northern)
This band around the earth, consisting of all surface within 23.5 degrees of the equator, is know as the "Tropical zone", or simply the "tropics".It includes every point on earth where it is possible for the sun to be directly overhead at any moment during the year.
Molten rock material on Earth's surface is called lava. When under Earth's surface it's called magma
A deep crack in the earth's surface is called a fault.
Molten rocks are called Magma when under the Earth's surface. It is called Lava above the Earth's surface.
The Earth's center, or a point very close to it inside the Earth, is exactly following the orbit. So there are always two points on the surface that are exactly on the orbit. It seems to me that these points would have to be in the Tropics, and would have to move along the surface as the Earth turns. It's not possible for ANY point on the surface to ever be more than about 6,200 miles from one of these points where the orbit actually meets the surface.
The trade winds (also called trades) are the prevailing pattern of easterly surface winds found in the tropics near the Earth's equator[
LEss than a 45 degree angle
A symbolic representation of the earth's surface or part of the earth surface is called map.

The rocky surface of the Earth is called the Lithosphere.
the surface of the earth where we live is called crust.
Molten rock material on Earth's surface is called lava. When under Earth's surface it's called magma
The break in the earth's surface is called a fault line.
Because they are located in an area of the Earth known as the "tropics", between the tropics of Cancer and Capricorn, and there is an abundace of rain.
A deep crack in the earth's surface is called a fault.
The tropics, which include the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn, were determined based on the tilt of the Earth's axis. The Tropic of Cancer is the northernmost circle of latitude on the Earth at which the Sun can be directly overhead, while the Tropic of Capricorn is the southernmost circle of latitude where this occurs. These lines mark the boundaries of the tropical climate zones.
The earth's position has no affect on constellations' visibility. The position of the viewer on the surface of the earth will affect what constellations are visible.
