∙ 9y agoThis is not the right question or answer. This is an answer to the question of different features within one model. The question that needs to be answered is what is the difference between the original ipad, ipad 2, ipad 3 ,4th version etc. Do they require a special case and accessories that only fit each version. Are there differences in the layout of control buttons, switches, inputs, outputs and external dimensions.
The iPad comes in two different models with three storage capacities each (making it a total of six different iPads).
The iPad with Wi-Fi lacks a cellular radio as well as the GPS chip. The iPad 3G has everything the iPad with Wi-Fi except it also has an optional data plan which will allow internet just like a cell phone as well as a GPS chip.
Both these iPads can come in either 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of storage.
