What he supposedly posted on the Wittenberg Castle Church door on October 31, 1517 was the 95 Theses or called " A Disputation on the Power and Efficacy Indulgences".
He nailed 95 Theses to the church door in 1517
It was Martin Luther who posted the 95 thesis on the church door
His 95 thesis (problems with the church). And just so you know, the church door was like a bulletin, so he wasn't being disrespectful when he nailed it to the door.
Martin Luther was a German monk in the middle ages who disagreed with the church. He didn't like how the Church was telling people to buy their way to heaven by making them give money to the church. They were being greedy. He nailed a list of complaints to the door of a church actually. People who agreed with him followed him and created Protestants. This change was called the reformation. When Martin Luther died, the protestants also became greedy. so a group of people started the lutherans.
Those People Next Door was created in 1953.
Luther posted 95 thesis on the door of Wittenburg Castle Church, but those weren't all of his grievances. Luther had more issues, but these were some of them that he wanted people to discuss with him.

Believers make up the church. If you are a Christian, then WE are the church. There are many people who think that the church is only a building but the church is the body of Christ. The church is those who are the hands and feet of Jesus and those who reach out into their world to make a difference for the sake of the gospel. I think that the church is supposed to be made up of the difference makers and the ones who have passion about being a light in the dark world. Young and old alike make up the church. Many ethnicities make up the church. I am a part of the body of Christ. I and fellow believers who are also a part of the body of Christ make up the church. However, this is not to say that those who do not believe cannot be the church. They have an opened door to believe the word of God and to also become a part of the body of Christ, and in turn a part of the church.

Missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" Church) only go door-to-door when they don't have anything else to do. Missionaries are required to spend every day from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. doing service and preaching the gospel. If they don't have any teaching appointments or meetings and have not been asked to do service, they either contact people in public places (parks, town centers, etc) or they go door to door. Going door to door is not very effective, and missionaries only do it as a last resort. They would prefer to be teaching people who are interested in hearing their message or doing service in the community.

Usually close to the main door of the church. Baptism is the sacrament that 'welcomes' people into the Christian church - it is the sacrament of entry into the Christian family worldwide and the font's siting near the door is symbolic of this.
