Here are tips: * Don't just replace the starter until you've verified that it is faulty. Check the starter first and make sure the problem isn't keyswitch, neutral lockout switch or a bad connection somewhere. * I changed the starter and found that the "trick or tip" is to first remove the oil filter (which means, prepare to do an oil change when replacing starter) and then it comes out through the vacant spot, where the filter was. You'll be doing an oil change too, because the oil filter must come out. I would try to jack the car from way underneath on the main frame; I put the toy car jack behind the front wheel, where the book says to put it, and my winshield cracked, which costs a further $250. You'd think the car designers would think about things like this happening. I'm sure of one thing; they're selling another windshield, so who knows??
