Instead of completely eliminating foods such as desserts or Pizza , allow yourself to have them maybe once in a month without any guilt. Its important that you don’t torture yourself when all you want to eat is a slice of pizza. Have one and move on with your life. Make sure this doesn’t become a habit.
Entirely cut down on any Carbonated Beverages. Water, lemon water, green smoothies, a cup of coffee or tea without the cookie and bread, cold-pressed juice are some things you are allowed to have.
Never ever drink fruit always eat them.
Drink your greens first thing in the morning. Throw in celery, spinach, carrot, beetroot, lemon, ginger, ice cubes literally whatever is available and have it.
Avoid eating fruits with any other meal. Keep a gap of minimum 20 minutes between fruit and any meal.
Don’t eat roti and rice together. Enjoy both of them separately.
Always eat cooked and cooled rice. Never warm. Once cooled the rice carbohydrates goes down by 60%.
Add loads of greens to every meal. It could be as simple as having some cucumbers and onions topped with coriander.
Aim to have only raw food until lunch. It will cut down on calories for the day and give a much needed rest to the system. I swear by this religiously.
Don’t go out on weekends empty stomach. Have a little something or carry something with you. The fuller you are the better choices you will make.
Add good fats to your diet. A tbsp of ghee, seeds, dry fruits but eat healthy fats as much as possible.
