No immigrants are excluded. All of us arrived here on a boat which puts us all in the same boat. We are ALL immigrants whether we came in 1620 or 2017. Thanks to immigrants we have wonderful foods, music, inventions, and other things. Immigrants have given their lives to protect this country. Over 60% of the civil war soldiers were Irish immigrants. Andrew Jackson's parents were Irish immigrants and his father and brother died in the revolution. Andrew Carnegie came as a poor young man from Scotland and died the riches man in America. He gave money to open 2500 public libraries and opened museums. Over and over again people have come and added to the nation and it's history.
