take the number off the old one if you still have it , any automotive store could tell you which one goes in it
A 1998 Jeep uses R134a.
A 1997 Jeep uses green coolant.
That uses an NP31 transfer case, which has been used in models from all of the big three... as far as Jeep goes, it's been in use since 1988 on several of their models, including the XJ Cherokee, the MJ Comanche, and the ZJ Grand Cherokee.
Idle may have to be relearned. Did it recently go dead or did you change battery?
chk the ground wire on the harness to the fuel pump...........
I found the best way to correct this issue is to, using the key lock and unlock the door a few times this has aways fix the problem for me.
Any name brand 10w30.
It goes into the top of bell housing.
take the negative terminal off and put a test light between the cable and the battery post. if the light comes on and then goes out. there is no short if it comes on and stays on then there is a short.
Have alternator checked. Should be getting 13-14 volts running. If not that, have battery tested.
The bellhousing is the part of the transmission that goes over the flywheel on the rear of the engine.
