∙ 12y agoThe larger breeds like Chianina, Marchigiana and South Devon eat more than other breeds simply because a larger body size means they need to take in more food to be able to function and live.

∙ 13y agoCows DO eat alot. They eat from 2 to 5% of their body weight in dry matter. That can be from 80 to 100 lbs of feedstuffs daily as-fed!
