Premium is a "pump gas". "Pump gas" is term used for any grade gas found at any given gas station such as regular, mid grade, and premium. It doesn't burn faster it gives a more complete burn which eliminates a significant amount of the carbon which you get when you burn a lower grade gas.
I must disagree with my learned expert. Premium does not burn faster nor does it give a cleaner burn. In fact it burns slower. The only difference in Premium and Regular is the octane level. A higher octane provides no benefit whatsoever in an engine designed to run on regular. No more power, no better mileage, nothing. In fact if used in an engine designed to run Regular you may suffer harder starting.
no it burns slower because it takes more pressure for it to burn
pump gas would recomend premium
Sorta. You have to run premium gas in it at all times. Failure to run 91 octane or above will result in the car getting very bad gas mileage, run very badly in general, and can damage the engine. It technically burns any type of gas that would be used in it, but it does require premium gas to operate. That's why it states on the dash premium fuel only.
Its better gas. Burns better and lets you go faster and more efficiently.
No. Premium has a little less energy than regular. (Diesel has more) You use premium gasoline because it explodes a little faster, and will prevent the engine from knocking. Your owner's manual will explain what octane level of gas you should use.
Yes. You can use unleaded, plus, or premium. Premium is 97 octane wich means it burns alot cleaner and richer. As there of unleaded is 87 octane. Premium will make your engine run better. And for eco friendly people...its "good" for the ozone.
They're usually Regular Unleaded, Mid-Grade Unleaded and Premium Unleaded.
The lower the grade of gas, the worse it will drive. Possibly even messing up your engine. The premium burns a lot slower, so you end up spending the same amount of money either way.
Use premium gas <non-oxegenated mixed with outboard oil. On the gas pump will be a sticker saying its for boats. Gary J.
NO.. it does not need premium gas.. You only have to put premium gas in a car which recommends premium gas. I would recommend a fill up with some mid grade gas atleast once a month...
The gas which burns with a pop sound is hydrogen gas.
Yes you can use premium gasoline in unleaded because premium gasoline is also unleaded. The only reason it is called premium gasoline is because it has a higher octance then regular unleaded. Regular unleaded has an octane rating of 87 and premium has an octane rating of 92. Premium gasoline burns slower then regualr gas because it has a higher octane rating.
