I have a 1995 Toyota corolla with a special package added on to the dealer. It came with a add-on sun roof which was powered by a sued motor that had two wires running to it. A blue and a red wire. I am looking for a replacement for this motor which is how I can across your question.
Jack.
No, the 94-96 Impala did NOT come from the factory with a sunroof option. However, there are many Impala's out there that had sunroofs installed by the dealership that they came from when they were new. So, it is possible to find a 94-96 Impala SS with a sunroof.
The only motor it came with from the factory is the 4.0 liter - OHV - V6
Need to KNOW the year and what it came in from the factory.
In front of the spare tire inside the kick panel. You can operate it manually with the tool from the tool kit (if you have the tool kit that came with the car) or you can use a 17mm socket wrench (if you don't have the tool kit that came with the car).
The 2001 Chevrolet Malibu came factory equipped with the 3100 V6 in transverse configuration. The Malibu has two hydraulic motor mounts.
A 1997 Crown Vic motor will fit a 1993 Crown Vic, both cars came with the exact same engine from the factory.
All 61-65 Thunderbirds came with the 390 FE engine. No other engine available from the factory.
One of the easiest and quickest ways to do this, is to go to an audio store and buy a wire harness. It should plug right into the factory plug (providing that it is still intact) and then plug into your new radio. If not, it will have ready to go wires for the harness that came with your radio.
I used aftermarket wires and did have some trouble with them. I ended up going back to Saturn for new wires. Plugs you can get anywhere. Don't try and upgrade them though, have them give you exactly what came in your vehicle from factory.
sure, it should. yes, as long as its the same motor that came out of your car in the first place, it should fit fine. if the motor is different you will also have to grab the Pcm and related wires out of the donor car with the motor.
Many aftermarket companies sell adapters for aftermarket wire harnesses. They have the original factory harness at one end and you cennect that to the harness that came with the radio. Check your local car audio installer.
Yes it will, I own a 1990 GMC Suburban 2500 (3/4 ton) and it came from the factory with a 454 motor.
