You want to try to determine the depth of the fish to determine where to set your bobber. If the sun is high up in the sky, the fish are generally looking at the bottom to eat. So you would want to try to get the bobber as close to the bottom as possible.
If the fish are cruising, usually in the mornings and evenings, you can set the bobber at about 4-5 feet. They are looking up and down for food, and are usually actively feeding around these times.
Once it gets cloudy out, you can usually put it about 1-2 feet above your hook. This will let the fish cruising by look up at your bait without getting blinded by the sun.
The hook and the bobber/float are generally separated by 12-18 inches but the specifics depends on the depth of the water you are fishing and the species being sought. some fish are spooked by bobbers and weights. I have seen lengths of up to 3 ft being used, mostly with slip floats as casting becomes challenging with longer lengths.
As of the weight when using a bobber it depends on the current you have and the size of the weight. You can tie a bell weight onto the bottom of the line below your hook. Or you can use split shot on the line between your hook and the float. The split shout should be at least 6 inches from the hook. If you need multiple split shots space them along the line and try not to bunch them up. The goal is to allow your line to drift naturally with he current. If you put your weight to close to the hook you will have an unnatural pendulum type motions.
When using your bobber as a strike detector. You need enough weight so that your bobber is almost pulled under the water. A well balanced float will allow you to detect very lite bites.
the distance between the bobber and the hook should be wherever u want the bait to be in the water. it depends how deep u want the bait
It depends on what kind of fish for deep sea u can use a bottle or a milk jug for lakes rivers ponds and streams you can use a tennis ball
In order to fish you would need a fishing pole, bait and hooks. The line on the fishing pole should also have a bobber in order to tell if there is a fish on the line.
a fishing rod and hook with line and bait is necessary you also might need a bobber.
A fishing lure is used to catch a fish. It is usually metal or wood with a treble hook or a set of them. They vary in color, shape, size, etc. The bobber is a floating strike indicator used when you want to "float" a baited hook or lure.
While holding a fishing rod, right click to cast the line and right click again when the bobber dips.

This is a very open question. It depends on where your fishing, what species your fishing for, and he time of day. If you are not fishing for any species in particular, about mid Howerday, in a decent sized pond or lake then I would set your bobber anywhere 3 1/2 feet-6feet(depending on how clean the water is and how little debris there s in the water). If you are Fishing early morning or late late afternoon I would suggest setting it a little shallower just because that is the time of day when the fish come near the top of the water. With bobber fishing you usually set the water deeper for hotter weather and more shallow for cooler weather. However if you are freshwater fishing the deeper you set your bobber the more likely it will be that you will catch a catfish. I personally don't like catching these due to their sharp whiskers and likely ness that they will break your line. hope this helps if not maybe someone else will update with more info
First you must get the fishing training, from a trainer. Then you must buy a pole. There are certain fishing levels in specific waters. You just click on your fishing icon next to an appropriate level of water and you automatically cast your line. You will zoom in on your line and when the bobber sinks you click on it, hopefully you get a fish! As you fish more your fishing skill increases and your able to fish in higher waters, were better fish are swimming. YAY!
the only item i can think of would be a bobber, similar to the name "bob"_________________________________________________________In the UK we fish with a Rod A shortened version of the name Rodney
Generally speaking, most catfish are bottom dwellers and spend the majority of their time at the bottom. Therefore During the daylight hours you would probably have better luck letting the bait sink to the bottom without the bobber. However at night, cats become more active and tend to move around at all levels. I personally have caught cats about 1-2 ft below the water line with a bobber while fishing for crappy. But usually catch more when the line sinks to the bottom.
The line needs to be changed regularly, especially if it is being used in saltwater. Most fishing line is made out of nylon and nylon's grade is significantly dependant on the environment and where is has been used.
bottom of gauge as there is room above full line for bobber to go which would mean if top of bobber is above full line than your tank is more than full
