It may be a STD. You may want to ask your doctor or someone you don't feel weird around talking about something like that, talk to them....You should get it checked out.

But..how could it be an STD if I haven't ever down anything sexual before?

It could be a lot of things. The only real way to tell for sure is to go see your doctor. If you've never done anything sexual, then it is not an STD. People can give themselves herpes down there if they have it in their mouth (a lot of people are born with or get herpes 1 when they are kids...its very common), touch their mouth and then touch down there. But that is very unlikely. I wouldn't worry but go to your doctor just to make sure.

Hi there :-) Based on what you said, this could be several things: * A allergic reaction to your washing product. In this case apply cream which is used to treat Eczema such as Sudocrem or Canisten, Daktacort if the rash is weeping or scabby. * Shaving your genital area can cause a red, pimply rash that is very obvious around the hair line of your genitals. This needs to be treated with the cream I mentioned above, or apply cold water if it becomes hot/burning or alternatively you can leave it alone and treat it with nothing and it will clear up in a few days. * If you have had unprotected sex with someone then this could also be a STD such as herpes or genital warts. If this is the case then see your doctor for a STD SWAB test. All the best. Trisha x

I hope you had it checked out. It could just be an irritation - from friction, heat, or other. It sounds like it could be an STD, so just be sure to see a Dr. as soon as possible, and avoid sexual contact until you have been treated, since more activity can cause discomfort, further irritation, and/or spreading of a possible contagion.

Off the top of my head. Scabies, Crab Lice, Genital Herpes. The first two would itch the third would burn. Syphilis would cause a painless chancre the size of an pencil eraser. Go to your doctor or health clinic.

Can toothpaste on the penis cause red bumps or rash under the foreskin which is not open itchy or painful 3 days after use or is it herpes?

You may want to get this looked at as it is possible that it could be genital herpes if you have been exposed to them. Not sure about the toothpaste aspect but it is possible it may be a reaction if you have had toothpaste on your penis as the area of skin is very sensitive.

What STD causes boils?

There are some sexually transmitted infections and diseases (STIs/STDs) that can cause what might commonly be referred to as a boil or an ulcer. * Boils that occur as a result of an STD most often appear when someone contracts a sexually transmitted bacterial infection such as chancroid or syphilis. Both infections can cause very painful open sores in and around the genitals as well as on other areas of the body. In the case of syphilis, those boils are called chancres, and they can appear on the genitals, in the vagina, on the cervix, lips, mouth, breasts, or anus during the first stage of infection. Boils or ulcers from chancroid look similar to syphilis chancres, and can be painful and might produce a pus-like substance. * Sometimes, herpes (HSV), molluscum, or genital warts (HPV) is mistaken for the beginning stages of a boil or ulcer from chancroid or syphilis, because they can all result in bumps on the skin. * Chancroid and syphilis ulcers are usually painful and eventually they open up and become wet. Herpes lesions can be painful, but they are often smaller and clustered, and they don't open in the same way that a chancroid of syphilis ulcer might. Whereas molluscum and genital warts can cause bumps, but generally, they aren't painful or wet at all.
