You have most likely changed the order at which the plugs are hooked up to the distributor, how car care friendly is ya? If you are very you'll understand what I mean right off. If not the firing order of your truck is something like 2513867 or smothering weird yet the firing order of your distributor is 12345678... See where I'm getting at you need you distributor to fire 1 to cyl 1 and next not cyl 2 but what ever is in the firing order. The firing order should be stamped on your intake or on the block somewhere. Also some crap shack like orilies can tell you what it is... That help? Now send me some

There are a couple of a reasons why a 1994 Ford F150 truck will not start. The truck may have a dead battery or the spark plugs need to be replaced.
A proper to not, on your 1994 F1 54 pickup truck, will include changing the spark plugs and spark plug wires. It is also recommended to change the air filter.
Like any car it depends on how many cylinders the car has. If it is a 4 cylinder then it has 4 spark plugs. If it's a 6 cylinder it has 6 spark plugs. An 8 cylinder truck has 8 spark plugs

Go to the parts store and get a spark plug thread insert kit. Be sure to match up the right threads to your spark plugs.
I just replaced my spark plugs on a 1998 Ford E250 V6. The best price I could get for a mechanic to do it was $400.00. I did not want to pay this price and I am glad I didn't because changing the spark plugs took less than 1 hour. I went to Pep-boys and purchased the plugs and wires for about $50.00. (I had to purchase a spark plug socket for my ratchet.) To get to the spark plugs I removed the middle console from the inside of the truck's cab and the spark plugs were right there. You should be able to do this with no problem. (Stay away from the spark plug removal tool, use the socket and ratchet instead.)
Replacing spark plugs is important to maintain the car. One disconnects the battery, the spark plug cables, removes the old spark plugs and replace them with new ones, reconnect the cables and the battery.
