A "projection" is used to convert the pattern of the spherical Earth to a flat sheet of paper. All projections imply some amount distortion; the only accurate map is a globe. We can generally reduce, or even minimize, the impact of the distortion by selecting proper type of projection.
Using a map with the wrong type of projection for the wrong area can lead you to make mistakes. For example, most of us have seen standard Mercator projection maps of the entire world. Look at one now. You see South America? You see Greenland? On a Mercator map, Greenland looks bigger. On the Earth, Greenland is MUCH smaller than South America!
Large scale (small area) maps can be quite accurate, but small scale (large area) maps are bound to cause some distortion. Here's another example; look at a map that shows both the USA and England. Which direction would you fly from San Francisco, California to London, England?
If you said "east", you wasted a LOT of fuel; the correct answer is "north-northeast". The shortest path from SFO to Heathrow goes north over Canada, almost to the pole, before "curving" south to Scotland and England. The straight line on the map isn't the same as the straight line on the globe!
The most common map projections are based on three main geometric shapes: 1) Sphere to a Plane 2) Cylindrical Projections, 3) Conic Projections.
most telescopes are used to collect and focus on different types of electromagnetic radiation from stars. Including visible light
Interrupted Projections
A bronze memorial plaque is mainly used as a means to remember someone or something. They can be designed to be hung up on a wall or placed in a garden.
Two projections used by geographers are Equal-area projections and- here's a guess for the second- ground surveys.
All saws are designed with a specific purpose in mind. The wood saw was designed for the sole purpose of cutting wood and not to be used for any thing else.
Cilia is the hairlike projections used for locomotion and obtaining food.
Charles Babbage. It was designed as a general purpose programmable computer, mostly to be used to compute tables for navigation and mathematics.
A snail's eyes are on longish projections on its head, and the projections are called eyestalks.
pascal was designed as a simplier version for educational purpose, it was also designed to be a teaching tool for students of programming classes.
Even a chisel shape tipped screwdriver is not designed to be used as a chisel. Its sole purpose is to screw in and screw out, screws and bolts that have a single slot in the head.
All martial arts were designed to be used in combat. That was their entire purpose for being created and studied for centuries. Many have since been softened to be sports.
because 2nd and 4th angle projection overlap each other
It will rotate faster.Since the fan is not designed for this, it will progressively ruin it.
To see different views of the Earth.

Short hairlike projections that are used for locomotion are called cilia. Cilia are normally found on unicellular organisms and not multicellular organisms.
