Im guessing it can, My cat died yesterday from that, they said it would cost 500$ or more just for one day to TRY to bring her back to good health. We didn't have the money and put her down with kisses all over. My advice is DONT let this go untreated, if your cat starts acting weird, stops eating, and eventually stops drinking go to a vet! I wish I went earlier.

∙ 12y agoType your answer here... if your dog has an abcess in its back teeth it is serious because it will become painful when they are eating and sooner or later they will stop eating all together. In order to stop this from happpening you need to contact a vet as soon as you notice it and they will give you medication.
